As Glee celebrates 50 years, members of the industry and GTN readers over the past four months have been nominating their suggestions for Glee's 50 Year Hero's.  Now, the nomination lists are closed and open for voting by GTN and Glee Daily News readers until midnight on Tuesday 3rd September 2024 with the results being announced at 5:00pm on The Stage at Glee on Tuesday 10th September, just before the Glee New Product Awards.

Hero's Awards Categories are:

• Most Influential Person of the past 50 years
• The Character of Glee's 50 years
• Hero Product of the past 50 years
• Hero Plant of the past 50 years

This year Glee is turning 50! Founded in 1974 as the Garden, Leisure, Equipment Exhibition, it has since become the go-to destination across eight sectors: Food and grill, garden care, home, gift and clothing, landscaping and garden decoration, outdoor entertaining, PAW, and retail experience. 

As the most important event for the gardening community Glee is pivotal in bringing the industry together. And with decades of expertise, it’s the central hub for face-to-face trading, networking and the growth of new ideas.
