Hybrid canopy forms part of an award-winning refurb
Fordingbridge are proud to have played a part at Bybrook's ‘Best business refurbishment, refit or extension' at Bybrook Barn. Fordingbridge transformed the undercover plant area to become 480m2 of outdoor retail space using a hybrid canopy. The whole refurb has resulted in increased turnover and positive customer feedback.
Using steel stanchions and glulam timber arches for an 8m span and 60m length, the aesthetic keeps the wow factor of the timber arches coupled with a contemporary feel with the use of steel. The steel stanchions can be galvanised or finished using powder coating, which can be applied using any RAL colour. This lends itself well for the structure to remain in-keeping with any branding guidelines your business may have.
“Having seen their extensive range of work within the industry we approached Fordingbridge to help us achieve our goals. From the initial site visit they were keen to explore all options and developed a hybrid design based on our specifications. With its wide timber arches and galvanised steel frame we now have the perfect space to display our bedding and young plants. A space that is functional and aesthetically pleasing. With logistical challenges on site and extensive groundwork's, Fordingbridge worked with us and split the installation process, enabling the project to run smoothly and delivering on time.
Since the completion of this canopy we have gone on to develop our working relationship with Fordingbridge. We have recently completed 2 further canopies at Bybrook Barn, a new canopy at our Flagship Bagshot store, and look to extend this with further projects within our centres.”
