The Cardoc Brand and the three fishes logo are registered trademarks date back to 19th July 1892
As far as we know Kent & co began trading in 1926 and became an incorporated limited company in 1927
Kent & Co (Twines) Ltd was formed and they traded from various premises over the years:
- in the 1930 -1940s at 26 Chapel Street Liverpool
- in the 1940 to 1950s at Cardoc House Lancelots way Liverpool
- until 2019 at the Old Hartleys Jam Factory at Long Lane Walton Liverpool
After almost 60 years at the business in May 2019 Mr Mike Hall decided it was time to retire and the Cartwright Family from North Staffordshire purchased the Business assets stock and machinery and goodwill and began the task of moving to the Staffordshire Moorlands.
The business is led by David Cartwright operations Director and we have two of the staff from Liverpool who has 50 years combined experience with Kent & co in the rope twine and cord business
We have:
- Midlands and north area business manager
- Sales agent in the southwest
- Sales agent in the southeast
The foundations of our family company are to improve, innovate, modernise, provide value products and never compromise on quality.
