Whether it’s the cold weather of winter or getting outdoors in the elements during summer, exposure to hot or cold temperatures, soil, salt water or hand sanitiser can dry hands out, making them scaly or itchy and leading to discomfort. Suitable for anyone, our beeswax hand salves and cuticle butters are perfect for those with hard-working or frequently washed hands, such as chefs, gardeners and nurses, or those with a love for getting regular manicures!

Most creams or lotions are a mixture of water (aqua) and oils. Because oil and water don’t mix (think of oil and vinegar), manufacturers need to add emulsifiers to bind the oil and water together – these chemicals can be quite harmful to your skin. And wherever water is added to a product, a chemical preservative is also needed to kill any bacteria – and these chemicals can also kill the beneficial bacteria that live on your skin and support your immune system.

We prefer not to upset the skin’s natural microbiome so choose not to add water to any of our products – so we don’t need to add any synthetic emulsifiers and preservatives. This also means all of our products are super concentrated with only the good stuff!
