Basically, liquid comfrey, very rich in potash, great for the development of fruit and flowers, as it says on the tin. The picture shows an Ophelia Rose that has been fed over Winter to produce magnificent flowers in the Spring, and this feed is just as productive on tomato plants.

Without enough potash, a plant will be stunted and not produce a good yield, and the effort of producing a poor yield will put strain on the plant as it goes into Winter months, meaning it is more susceptible to inclement weather and disease.
